The recycling of the batteries in disuse comprises of the environmental policy of the company and to give fulfillment to this modern centers of processing of the "scrap iron of battery" have settled, such that after lending their life utility, are transformed into raw material for the recycling process.

Description of the process:

The process begins with the reception in plant of the collected raw material of all the country. Later the materials are separated.

The materials that contain lead are process in smelting furnaces, fed with vegetal coal and natural gas of which soft work lead is extracted for the lead manufacture of high purity.

The work lead coming from the treatment of scrap of batteries, dregs and ashes, is put under a refinement process, where it is extracted all the impurities that affect the good operation of batteries and some metals are added to obtain a correct alloy.

The refined lead produced completely is destined to the manufacture of batteries.

The refinement by-products also are fed the furnaces of other processes for the extraction of the lead balances until turning them poor dregs with lead plans.
